quick quotes

A few quick quotes I want to jot down from the kids...

Kinsey has become quite the comic relief at our house. Every night before bed we ask the kids what to thank God for. Usual answers include "blankies, mommy daddy, bryce, kinsey, Christmas presents.." The last several nights Kinsey has added "goodies and guts" Guts = people's stomaches.

Kinsey likes to try out big words. She'll go around the house saying thats "POSSIBLE!" (meaning impossible)

Whenever they want to take a picture she shouts "grumpy-o-grumpo!"

Today when I picked up Bryce from school he said "my not feeling well. I have germs. the germs went into my brain" Turns out the poor guy had a belly ache.

Tonight during dinner Bryce randomly said "Mommy my love you." Me "Thank you! What made you think of that?" Bryce simply replied "Jesus."

One more thing I want to jot down. I've noticed the kids thoughtfulness toward one another. I asked Bryce if he wanted to watch Dumbo and he replied we should wait until Kinsey woke up. Kinsey and I bought a hello kitty lunchbox and while there she picked out a Batman lunchbox for Bryce and asked me to buy it. When one of them gets a snack they almost always ask for the other sibling too.

I'm not saying they are perfect. Far from it. They fight and tease and chase each other frequently. But I want to praise God for the sweet things I see in our kids. God is growing good things in their heart.
