this little guy
Bryce had his first allergist appointment Tuesday...They did the skin test and tested for nuts, seafood, peanuts and cats. His cat reaction was a 2 and the peanut was a 3. No reaction to seafood or tree nuts! So if you have any ideas for introducing nuts to a little boy picky about texture, I'd love to hear it.
In the past we did bloodwork tests (RAST) and the doctor said the peanut numbers have gone down--at 10 months he was over 20 (class 4) and at his 3 year appointment he was a 7 (class 3) His allergy to oats is now completely gone and though he shows a mild allergy to milk + soy--he tolerates it fine so the doctor said its okay to continue those.
All in all, good news! We already knew about his sensitivity to cats + allergy to peanuts. So it was great to know he can eat tree nuts (when his allergic Dad isn't around ;) )

That's great! Elijah outgrew his tree nut allergy and his cat allergy in the three years in between his testing. It's so good to get good news about food allergies!
Elijah was a 4 on tree pollen and grass pollen though so we have other battles to conquer.
oh that is awesome grace! so does he eat nuts now? do you keep them in the house with josh's allergy?
bryce rubs his face constantly--i think he has outdoor allergies. does elijah take anything for it?
