VBS

The kids are participating in a VBS this year. Its their first time going, its not at our church so I'm proud of them for going and enjoying it! They are in the 4s+5s class together which I think helps a bunch. And its been nice for Lee and I to have some time together for few hours in the evening.

Last night during dinner I asked them about their experience so far:

Me: so what have you learned? 

Bryce: you have to come. its very excited.

Me: what have you learned about God? 

Bryce: the queen and princess were there too

Me: tell me about the castles

Bryce: what castles?

Me: the good castle and the bad castle. did you learn about sin?

Both kids: uh huh...we don't want to live in the bad kingdom. we need the good kingdom! we only be with the good king 

Me: how do you get to the good kingdom

Bryce: I don't know 

Me: is it about asking jesus in your heart?

Bryce: yes, uh huh

Kinsey: the bad king doesn't have any friends. he's really really ang-r-y!

So thats the recap so far! The kids have LOVED the drama with princesses, queens and princesses. Still working through the Biblical principles  :)
