Yesterday, trying on a new dress for florida:

me: bryce do you like my new dress?

bryce: no.. not quite.

{pause}

bryce: need to take it off, put some pants on. its too cold.

Last week Bryce was studying his toothbrush. He was looking at the plastic edge...

bryce: whats this?

me: thats overmold

bryce: overmold? where's the button? (to turn it on)

me: umm..its an analog toothbrush. 

(ok so analog was the wrong word but what do you call a toothbrush with no battery?!)

Last night I was holding Kinsey and she was saying "no" to everything. 

me: do you like pink?  doggies?  pizza?

kinsey: no,  no,  no..

bryce: do you like Jesus? Jesus makes scary monsters go away.

kinsey: yeah, i like Jesus!

I was in nursery with Kinsey Sunday. During the Bible time, Kinsey was walking around ignoring the fact that everyone was sitting down. When she saw me mouth the words sit, she sat right down in a chair next to the teacher (everyone else was on the floor) and started blowing me kisses across the room with her chubby hand under her chin..
