Last night we had a co-worker/friend over (he works for 3M in Italy). We've had him over to our house since Bryce was a baby. Anyway, before dinner they were talking about super heros. And Bryce suddenly says "Jesus saves us! Jesus helps us!" Our friend replied "excuse me?"
We often tell Bryce "Jesus is the ultimate rescuer!" And I absolutely believe it. I was made some pretty stupid/bad decisions in college and I was rescued from that. I give no credit to myself. It was God's redemptive work in my heart.
I look forward to teaching the kids little nuggets like "my God is so big." Because He really is.
