Breakfast

I had been giving Bryce oatmeal with soy milk...but now that we know he is allergic to both I'm at a loss. He eats fruit, and I'll mix a little rice into that and he also eats Kix cereal. I'm waiting to hear back from the 2nd test if he can eat yogurt. He can have wheat--but most grocery store breads use barley (who knew!)

I'd love to feed him something filling and nutritious, and not too high in sugar. Any ideas?

What about mixing wheat germ with rice milk and a little juice to give it flavor?

whole foods can be your best friend, sister. They have everything on earth for people with food allergies. And he can eat things like waffles and french toast (they make it without egg in the frozen section). You can also make pancakes and muffins and freeze them and just pull one out at a time. At home you could make them without egg. My girls are pancake-and-waffle-aholics. You can add wheat germ and fruit to them.
