First Cold
Bryce has come down with a cold for the first time. He started with a runny/congested nose and last night he woke up with a fever. We put a pillow under the mattress to elevate his head and have been using the nose aspirator a good bit. It is so pitiful to hear him try to breathe through his nose! I have been pretty sleep deprived but he slept a long time this morning and I got in a good nap. The biggest bummer is not getting to go to playgroup today, Adrien (8weeks old) has a cold too and isn't going, and Ethan (4 1/2 months old) hasn't been sick yet. I'm hoping to take Bryce to the library, and for a walk to keep my sanity : )

You are fortunate that it has taken this long to get his first cold. David started at 2 months and seems to have colds at least once a month, then again he is day care so that's probably why. Do you squit saline in his nose then use the aspirator? We do that w/ David and he HATES it, but it really gets the snot out.
